Apollo FC Linemarker Grant Success

Apollo Football Club Awarded Grant for New Line Marking Equipment

Apollo Football Club is pleased to announce it has received a $3,000 grant through the 2024-25 Active Club Program Regional Drought Relief Round, funded by the Government of South Australia.

The grant has been used to purchase a Fountainline Drop and Go Bundle 25 line marking system, which includes a new Proline V4 linemarker and line marking liquids. This modern equipment is significantly more efficient and economical than the club’s current aged and failing unit—delivering faster setup, cleaner lines, and reduced paint usage, which will save time and costs over the long term.

This funding is part of the State Government’s drought relief package supporting regional communities. The Active Club Program aims to strengthen grassroots sport in areas impacted by drought by helping clubs maintain services and provide affordable opportunities for participation.

This project received grant funding from the South Australian Government through the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing. Apollo thanks the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing for their support and looks forward to putting this new equipment to good use for the benefit of players, volunteers, and the wider Mt Gambier community.
